Does nature inspire you to create? The beauty of nature around me everywhere makes me realize the power of the Creator! The details in creation are evidence of a Creator who designed each plant and animal perfectly. Here are a few pictures that I have taken recently. Please comment with advice and input!

Metal

Ok, metal doesn't particularly inspire me, but for the photography class that I am currently taking at college, this week's photo assignment was to capture the same metal object with both dark lighting and reflective lighting. I decided to use my diamond ring for the assignment, and I chose rough unfinished wood as the background. I like the rough wood with the elegance of the ring. The contrast of subject as well as of light made it stand out more. Here are my two photos:

Music inspires me. I love music. I think that music is a way that we can reflect what we believe, what we hope, what we dream...

What Inspires You?

What inspires you to create? As I choose what subjects I want to photograph, I have been thinking about what makes me choose what I take pictures of. Is it something that I am personally attached to, or is it something that has appeal outside of the context that I know it in? To truly be successful in photography, our art must evoke emotions in others that have never seen the subject except the way that we have captured it. So what inspires you--is it something that inspires others as well? I'm going to do a series of posts on what inspires me, along with a few photos that I have taken recently.
